The Designhuis is a platform and meeting place in the field of design, technology and innovation; a home for Dutch Design.

The formation of networks, knowledge exchange and collaboration between the creative sector, knowledge institutes, and the business sector on an international scale take centre stage.  

The creative industry has the opportunity to introduce their ideas and new products to a large public. To meet colleagues and other people with an interest in design. To acquire knowledge and gain inspiration, establish connections and visualize trends.  
The exhibitions and the original design shop by Ontwerpersgroep Yksi is open to the public.
The opening of the Designhuis took place during Dutch Design Week 2007.

Businessplan
Designhuis is a result of the business plan by Robert Jan Marringa, programme manager in Design Connection Brainport.
Designhuis is an initiative of Design Academy Eindhoven, Municipality Eindhoven, Design Connection Brainport, Van Abbemuseum, and Yksi Ontwerpers.
